The long winter months can often leave us feeling tired and lethargic.This workshop is an opportunity for you to take some time out, give yourself permission to truly relax and rest, and to recharge your batteries. During this workshop we will focus on calming the mind and balancing the nervous system through a deeply nourishing restorative practice to activate the ‘’Rest and Digest’’ response. We will use blocks, blankets, bolsters and other props to support the body, create spaciousness and ease, and allow deep relaxation. The session will end with a long Yoga Nidra visualisation. After this session of deep relaxation, you’ll leave feeling grounded, restored and re-energised ready for the festive season!
No prior yoga experience is required. All levels welcome.

MUDRAS TO BALANCE AND HARMONIZE YOUR CHAKRAS.

The energy of our fingers is related to the five elements (earth, water, fire, air and ether), so the practice of Mudras (hand gestures) can enhance meditation and facilitate the energetic flow in the body through the chakras. During this workshop we will explore Mudras and their use in meditation and Yin Yoga poses. The session will end with a restoring Yoga Nidra. (Yogic Sleep)
